20+ Travel Related Sites for Inspiration
May 30th, 2009 by 20+ Travel Related Sites for InspirationWith summer looming, I have decided to make a list of the most well-designed and well-constructed travel related sites on the web. As I have mentioned, I believe good design involves the use of exceptional graphics, fonts, color, layout, web accessibility, and design; in addition, I also feel that uniqueness, style, personality, and individuality also make a website outstanding. However, with travel sites, the single most important element that must be present is extraordinarily effortless usability. In other words, travel sites must be simple to use and uncomplicated to understand, because the majority of users are looking for an immediate result.
Therefore, these sites are ones that I feel meet my standards for great sites, because they are either aesthetically pleasing, they allow for easy navigability and usability due to the fact that they are well-planned and well-constructed, or they possess both. The ones I consider the most eye-catching are Vacations.net and African Budget Safaris. Both of these pages possess great style, color, originality, and layout. The sites I consider the most exceptional sites have both beauty and easy navigability, and these sites are Expedia, Dohop, and Yahoo Travels. See the list below, as ones I feel are generally great travel related sites! Please feel free to comment and enjoy!
