Spice up your site’s menu, and the world will take notice! An eye-catching and attractive, yet functional, menu is so essential to making an exceptional website because it is on of the first objects a reader may notice when they enter your site, and it is the area of the site that receives the most frequent traffic. In my opinion, an outstanding menu must consist of three main design features: 1) it must be understandable and react to the mouseover, 2) it must be exceptionally eye-catching and aesthetically pleasing, and 3) it must be clear, useful, and easy to function. Also, some designers/developers like to use too many cascade styles sheets files for one simple page. Though style is essential to a great site, simplicity is the key when it comes to increasing the speed of your website. In this fast paced world, people want information as soon as possible, and if you do not give it to them, they will leave your site frustrated. The purpose of a website is to give information, so make sure you give it as quickly as possible. This can be accomplished by using simple plain text whenever possible in your site.

This is the first site of the month in Admix Web. I’ll post every month an amazing website that blows our minds. Or at least the best of the month.
Work at Play has a beautiful design, great colors and really nice effects. The idea of a different color for every tab isn’t new but they don’t over use it.
Recommendation: Make use of less images and more text.
