In 2004, a television phenomenon began on ABC where several castaways landed on a strange island, and adventure after adventure began to unfold. For those Losties out there, you know I am talking about LOST, and for everyone else that have never heard of LOST, you can come out from under your rock! I absolutely love the LOST program, and from what I have seen, it is popular among designers, developers, and fellow computer geeks. So, in honor of the last Season of this extraordinary television series, I have searched for the most amazing LOST inspired pieces of art work. 1Web Accessibility: 6 Reasons Why Its Important
Feb 9th 2010 by
Web accessibility is the idea of making websites easily accessed by all types of people including those with certain disabilities, different languages, or lack of access to certain technology. The notion is derived from the fact that all people should be given equal opportunity to access websites regardless of their limitations. It is important for you to consider that a certain percentage of your site’s visitors will be in this category. When websites are properly designed, developed and edited, your web accessibility will increase because all people will be able to use, function, and navigate through your site with ease. In my opinion, no matter what stage you are in the website process, every step of the way, you should consider making your website more user-friendly.
7Super Bowl XLIV: From a Designer’s Perspective
Feb 5th 2010 by
Super Bowl XLIV has been analyzed, dissected, examined, studied, and picked apart from every angle possible to see which team is superior. Though I love sports, I am by no means an expert on the subject, so I decided to examine the two teams from a unique perspective, the Designer’s Perspective. I have always thought that the right colors, style, and logo can give any company that “it factor.” Design can go out of just the graphic and web worlds, and into almost any facet of life. Thus, I decided to look at these two teams, the New Orleans Saints and the Indianapolis Colts, from the Designer’s Perspective, by looking at their official logo, additional logos, team colors, and all in all style. All images and team colors are copyrighted by the NFL. Enjoy! And as always, please feel free to leave your comments, as they are always welcome, and enjoy the game!

However, remember that we are still accepting sites for the gallery, we just will not post them until the new site has been finished. And, as always remember to use our search feature and look through our archives for great articles written over the past year! Enjoy the first Mix of the month for 2010!
